It Continues

Now that the entire world has been ailed out by the respective governments what's next? A continued global recession that's what. I suppose the "end of the world" has been adverted and the sky didn't fall.........yet!

So the gov's of the world are the new bankers? What happens when the bill comes due? The US Gov certainly doesn't have this kind of cash and I suspect neither does anybody else short of China. So basically China is the Bank Of The New World Order!

The trader says trade. If the bailout did nothing else, it has made for some nice runs in all major currencies. The carry trades have been good for some huge moves nicely telegraphed for those traders that were looking. EUR/USD, USD/CHF, GBP/USD and many other pairs were ripe for the picking. Heck, just by reading this blog the average trader should have made some nice pips.
Where are the markets heading? Who knows. Don't try to predict, trade the chart baby!

been awhile

Hey all, it's been awhile since I've posted. Things have been quite busy (and profitable) at The FXGrail. We had a few bumps in the road, but we are cruising now. Today alone we have banked over 600 pips and we have 5 trades still open and in profit.

We have tweaked the grail a bit. We are real close to offering the complete system. We will still offer the subscription service and will be adding The FXGrail I and The FXGrail II-The Quest.

Testing

The weekend was very beneficial to my long term forex career. I have done extensive back-testing on a couple of pairs. I have found that so far the new system looks very good. I will continue to back-test a few other pairs. I hope to have 5-7 pairs that I can reliably trade with this new system. Once completed I will post trades and results strictly from this system. As I mentioned earlier, the system is a hybrid of a few different systems. I am looking for the holy grail so to speak, and I may have created it. We will find out.

Trading this week will likely be slow. I am putting most of my efforts into back-testing the new system. Today I closed out the EUR/GBP short of my target point. Closed @ .6609 for a profit of 21 pips, which is a decent haul on this pair. Have initiated one order tonight: USD/CHF long@ 125.22 s/l@125.02, no target point yet, want to see how this plays out. I may short USD/CAD if it gets near the 118.50 range. Patience on this cross. Happy pips to all!
